Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training

Free

with Elias, Lane Moore-Leamon

Calendar Apr 13, 2020 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

Have you ever seen or heard someone harass, bully or threaten another person, and wished you know what to say or do?  Most of us have.  We are all much more likely to be a bystander than a participant or victim of hateful and hurtful words and behavior.  Green Dot teaches safe and proven-effective Bystander Intervention techniques that every member of a community can use, both proactively to change our cultrue for the better, and reactively to reduce harm.  None of us can do everything, but each of us can do our part to make Lewistion-Auburn a safer and more welcoming community.  Any folks who have already attended a workshop are also warmly welcomed.  We find we learn something new almost every class and you might have had some experiences doing Green Dots that would be helpful and interesting.
