Gentle Flow And Intro To Breathing

Better your health and increase flexibility with this gentle flow yoga class. Paired with core strength and an introduction to breathing, this clas is sure to bring you stability and peace in the New Year.  Wear comfortable clothes, mats are provided if you don't have your own.  Class takes place at Chill Yoga, 178 Lisbon Street, Lewiston.

Intermediate Vinyasa Yoga For Health And Fitness

This 70-minute next level flowing yoga class for health and fitness will be led by Heidi L. Audet.  Each class begins with 40 minutes of vinyasa flowing yoga blending elements of Tai Chi, Para Yoga Flows, Tr-Yoga Flow, Warrior Series, and Shiva Rea's Advanced Vinyasa.  Class continues with a 15-minute workout on specific muscle groups, and concludes with deep relaxation.  This vinyasa class is a Level II, vingorous, and is suitable for intermediate yoga practioners.  Not recommended for beginners.  Class will be held at Chill Yoga, 178 Lisbon Stree, Lewiston. Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and comfortable clothing.

Introduction To Breathing And Meditation

Learn tools to help with relaxation and calming the mind to bring you a deeper sense of self.  Each week, instructor Heidi Audet, ERYT-500, will guide students in breathing practices known as Pranayama, which helps to calm the mind and prepare students for guided meditation practice.  No prior experience necessary.  This six-week class will be held at Kimbal Street Studios, 191 Lisbon Street, Lewiston across from Chill Yoga in Lewiston.  Please bring a meditation cushion or pillow, and a blanket or yoga mat.  

Introduction To Sculpting

Creating a small sculpted bust (6-8 inches) from start to finish in clay.  Will cover materials, creating a sculpture concept, making a wire armature, and sculpting a human head.  Supplies Fee of $35.00 paid to instructor the first night of class.

Want to learn how to use your iPad/iPhone device for more than making calls, sending messages, or playing games?  Take this course to discover the hidden potential of your device.  We will learn how your device can be used to improve your productivity, organization, and even replace your desktop or laptop computer.  If time allows, we will also learn how to utilize your device as a photography and video production tool to create photo movies to share.  Participants must provide their own personal iPad or iPhone.

For anyone interested in learning more about the early detection of Alzheimer's disease.  The purpose of this workshop is to provide the general public with a greater understanding of the difference between age-related memory loss and dementia and what to do if they have signs of Alzheimer's disease.  At the workshop, you will learn: How to tell the difference between Alzheimer's and typical aging, steps to take if you recognize a warning sign in yourself or someone you know, the process to receiving an Alzheimer's diagnosis, why early detection is crucial.
