The understanding Medicare presentation will review the following areas: when you are eligible for Medicare benefits, the timeline for enrollment, what Medicare covers and doesn't cover, what plans are available that work in conjunction with Medicare, and the financial assistance options.

Reiki Share #3

This is not a class, but open to all Reiki Levels Certification.  This allows Reiki Certified students to share and practice their Reiki with others in the Reiki Communities in the area.  We will meet the first Thursday of every month...Weather Permitting.  No reschedule if canceled; it would go to the next first Thursday of the month.

Meeting dates are: Feb. 6; March 5; April 2; and May 7.

Basic Wire Wrap Jewelry

Create a necklace or two by learning the basic frame-work for creating simple wraps for stones with holes or without. Simple bails, fancy design for finishing the pendants, using curls and spirals.  Bring your tools and supplies, and any questions you may have.  Supplies and tools can be purchased at Joann Fabric and Craft Stores, Hobby Lobby, or Butler Hill Beads on Minot Avenue in Auburn.  Items to bring with you are as follows:  wire: 18 gauge, and 26 or 28 gauge; stones (this can be a tumbled stone, cut stone or glass); chain or cord (neck chain or cord to compliment wire); clasps and connectors; magnetic, lobster claw, or toggle, split rings to attach closure.

Spring is coming (REALLY!! It is!), and with it comes throwing open windows, clearing out the dust, and getting the gardens ready for another growing season.  Whether wiping the dirt out of your home or wiping the dirt off your hands is your favorite, either way, we have natural solutions for keeping pests and critters out, for returning the sparkle, and for supporting your organic gardening.  All are super simple, proven effective, and will have you breathing easy, literally and figuratively.  We'll have a casual get-together that will be a fun time and informative, too!  And you'll get to make a couple goodies, along witht he recipes to make more!  These are easy to make -- one will freshen up your home and another will keep pests adhering to the "hospitality rules".  And there will be an extra surprise bonus, too, plus some additional easy-peasy but good recipes!

Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training

Have you ever seen or heard someone harass, bully or threaten another person, and wished you know what to say or do?  Most of us have.  We are all much more likely to be a bystander than a participant or victim of hateful and hurtful words and behavior.  Green Dot teaches safe and proven-effective Bystander Intervention techniques that every member of a community can use, both proactively to change our cultrue for the better, and reactively to reduce harm.  None of us can do everything, but each of us can do our part to make Lewistion-Auburn a safer and more welcoming community.  Any folks who have already attended a workshop are also warmly welcomed.  We find we learn something new almost every class and you might have had some experiences doing Green Dots that would be helpful and interesting.
