Zumba Session #1

Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness class.  A certified instructor will lead you through 1 full hour of mixed impact dance combined with toning movements for a full body workout.

Acrylic Painting

Students will have opportunities to experiment and develop skills in various techniques using acrylic paints.  Each week will focus on the independent project goals of each participant, (each night there will be a mini exercise or project to start or continue if students do not have ideas or want to continue to experiment).  Painting themes or subjects could include: painting from observation, things in front of us-still life objects, things from photographs, preferably ones we take, things from imagination or creativity, as well as different styles: cubist, abstract, symbolic, impressionist, pop, etc.  Open to all skill levels from absolute beginner to experienced who would just like an organized time and day to paint.

Audet for her series of Ayurveda Cooking for winter wellness!  This educational cooking class series will tantalize your taste buds and expand your understanding of this ancient practice.  Learn about the health properties of ghee (clarified butter), kitchari stew for seasonal transitions, and healthy puddings.  Besan Ke Halwa (chickpea pudding) used for combating colds and congestion.  Learn and apply the principles of the 6 tastes in Ayurveda to bring flavor to your meals and increase health and wellness.  Personal supply list for at home cooking will be given for each class you register for.  (NOTE: all items are gluten-free).  Separate fee and supply list for each meal you make.

PIYO Live: Introduction To Stretch and Flow

Enjoy learning elements of Pilate and Yoga in a flowing, low-impact cardio sequence set to contemporary music!  This is a wonderful way to end your Monday.  Wear comfortable yoga or fitness clothing.  Bring a mat, towel, a bottle of water and a mask.  Class is held at Chill Yoga, 182 Lisbon Street, Lewiston.  In the event of in-person class restriction, PIYO class will be held fully online.

Beginners Vinyasa Yoga

Have you always wanted to try yoga, but thought you weren't flexible enough?  Want to experience a sense of peace and well-being?  Are you curious about learning how to relax and calm anxiety with breathing and flowing movements?  If the answer was yes to any of these question, join Heidi for this introduction to yoga.  Modifications offered for knee, hip, neck, wrist and back issues.  Supplies: yoga mat, towel, pillow or bolster, and a bottle of water.  Class will be live-streamed from Chill Yoga, 182 Lisbon Street, Lewiston.  This is a hybrid class, so students who would like to participate via the Zoom Yoga classroom instead of onsite, may utilize that option.

Basic Map, Compass and GPS
