In this 6-week series, participants will be introduced to the foundational elements of various forms of hatha yoga, a kind of yoga that pairs poses (asana) with breathing techniques (pranayama). Each week will include a full practice of 60-75 minutes that incorporates postures, breathwork and mediation techniques, with time for questions and discussion at the start of class. There are infinite possiblities to modify poses to make the movement work for your body, and you'll learn techniques to take with you into your own practice beyond this series. Participants wil need to provide their own yoga mat and two yoga blocks.
